Assessments:
The grade distribution for this course is as follows:
10% Homeworks
10% Lab
20% Midterm exam
60% Final exam
Homeworks:
- This course has 10 weekly assignments.
- Assignemnets are due in the class on the indicated date.
- Students are encouraged to discuss the homework problems
outside the class. However, everybody should submit the homeworks individually
- If you have any questions or concerns about the homeworks, feel
free to contact me
- Exercises are some complimentary questions on the course materials and
they will not be marked.
Exams:
This course has a Midterm exam and a Final exam.
The date and time for the Midterm exam will be announced.
Academic Integrity:
It is the obligation of each student to
understand the University's policies regarding academic
integrity and to uphold these standards. Departures from academic integrity include plagiarism, use of unauthorized materials, facilitation, forgery, and falsification. Actions that contravene the regulations on academic integrity carry sanctions that can range from a warning to the loss of grades on an assignment to the failure of a course to a requirement to withdraw from the university. Students are encouraged to talk about the problems, but should write up the solutions individually. Students should acknowledge the assistance of any books, software, students, or professors.
